Being offered for sale is this very nicely appointed 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 Sports Coupe. In 1964, Ford only produced 12,431 examples of the Fairlane 500 with the rare Sports Coupe option. This totally rust free documented California Fairlane 500 was purchased new in Los Angeles and lived all its life in "dry" Southern California. The second owner bought it and immediately began a painstaking ground-up restoration, bringing the car to its current status on the widely recognized Vehicle Condition Scale of a No. 2 Fine (combination of superior restoration and excellent original).

Prior to application of the remarkable Ford Wimbledon White finish, all stainless trim, bumpers, and glass were removed. The stainless was polished and bumpers re-chromed to a show quality high luster. The original window glass was found to be without blemish and in such excellent shape, was reinstalled.
