Newstalgia Motors Presents Car No.
1936 Ford Pickup
This car has found a new home!
However, we'd be happy to locate another one just for you.
The body is original Henry Ford steel with fiberglass fenders and running boards that have been undercoated to prevent "spidering" of the topcoat finish. The recent total ground-up restoration included a new steel bed, and a working vent. Painted hood side panels come with the truck. The beautiful wood bed was formed from oak tongue and groove panels without the normal chrome or stainless strips and highly polished and weatherproofed. This is a high quality and solid build with plenty of attention to detail. Fit and finish is excellent throughout the body, bed, and body matching powder coated frame and suspension components with no rust or accident damage. This truck is always stored winters, kept in a climate controlled environment, and never driven in inclement weather.
The comfortable interior features bucket seats and sculpted door panels smartly upholstered in Gray cloth with Gray cut pile carpeting nicely contrasting with the Teal Blue paint. There is a tilt steering column, working cowl vent, AM FM Stereo cassette unit and a full set of gauges inset into the molded dash.
Engine and Driveline
The engine is a professionally built Chevy 350 with a mild performance cam and cylinder head work bringing it to 350 hp. The engine is backed by a re-built TH350 transmission. According to the owner, the drivetrain combination is perfect for either daily driving or freeway cruising.
Wheels and Tires
Weld 15" wheels on radial tires.
