Downs Industries smoothed and filled fiberglass body,
firewall, fenders and running boards covered by glowing show quality
multi-stage Chevy Hugger Orange paint very subtle pin striping. Nicely
executed 3 in. front and 2 in. rear chopped top. Chopped and tinted
windshield (all glass tinted). Wagner halogen headlights, custom frenched
rear lights with blue dots, hidden antenna, electric wiper, custom license
The stock operated suicide doors open to a plush cabin
appointed in Black and Grey featuring Saleen Mustang bucket seats, nicely
sculpted door panels, stock dash with a full set of VDO black face gauges,
leather wrapped LeCarra steering wheel atop a GM tilt column, Pioneer sound
system, concealed speaker system, B&M shifter, power windows, air
conditioning, rear window 3rd brake light, black vinyl headliner, custom
matching floor mats and black cut pile carpet. Remote-opening matching
upholstered trunk with trunk-mounted battery.
Engine and Driveline
The driveline comprises a show-prepped 350
cu. in. small block Chevy V-8 topped with a Dyer's Blowers 6-71
supercharger, 2 Holley 650 CFM 4-barrel carbs, Dougs block-hugger 1 1/2 in.
ceramic coated headers, polished Sanden AC compressor, billet pulleys, GM
1-wire alternator, Mallory distributor and coil, Hi-Flow Walker radiator.
Built GM TH-400 transmission, Ford 9 in. rear end with 3.50 gears. TCI
frame, Mustang II steering and tubular front suspension, front coil over
shocks, Mustang II front disc brakes, polished fasteners and stainless lines
throughout, under floor mounted power brake booster, rear coil over shocks,
Rear sway bar, Ford rear drum brakes, custom gas tank.
Wheels and Tires
Weld Racing series 96 Pro Star polished wheels;
165x15 front and 31/18.5x15LT Mickey Thompson rear tires.
This '34 3-Window Coupe is in pristine condition, meticulously kept and
maintained, runs and drives beautifully, needs absolutely nothing. Titled
as a 1934 Ford, it is exempt from modern emission standards.
