The body is extensively modified from factory stock. All steel body framework replaces the original wood components.

Many hours of hand fabricated components went into the construction of this unique car. These components include dual side mirrors, custom built windshield frame, power cowl vent, third brake light, stainless steel door pins, front fenders lengthened 5", and extensively modified front valence to accommodate the suspension. All bright work is in excellent condition: The original 1932 Chevrolet grille is restored to perfection, 1932 Chevrolet bumpers are narrowed 12", Custom polished stainless steel bumper brackets, custom built polished stainless steel headlight bar, custom built polished stainless steel headlamps, CNC formed polished aluminum windshield frame, custom built polished stainless steel side markers, and custom built rear badges. The custom hood is 5" longer than stock with custom built side panel doors resembling the factory pieces, electric solenoid controlled hood latches with emergency pull cables, fabricated polished stainless steel trim/handles, and polished stainless steel lower trim. The undersides of the hood are coated with bed liner. The handmade doors are 2" longer than stock with custom made hinges, polished stainless steel pins, and housing custom made power windows. All panel gaps are uniform with excellent overall fit. The custom-built convertible top uses modified Fiat bows covered in dark green heavy duty top fabric, a custom built aluminum rear window opening with a third brake light and polished stainless steel lower rear trim. The windshield and side glass is tinted with all new widow channels, rubber seals and window felts throughout. The hand fabricated splash aprons are finished in body color and running boards are finished in black urethane. The inner sills are polished stainless steel. The original rear fenders are widened 2 1/2" with undersides treated with rock guard. The rear valence and frame horn covers are modified to clear the fuel tank. The trunk features a custom lid supported by gas struts with a custom lid inner liner, custom built panels with green carpet lining, insulated rubber mat with lower storage and battery access panels, and fuse panel access on right side. Rear quarter panels are raised 21/2" to accommodate the folded top. The body and fenders are finished in custom PPG Vanilla Milkshake Urethane with doors and quarter panels finished in Sweet Pea Green urethane. The paint quality is very good.

The front and rear green leather seating surfaces, door panels, and 3-spoke steering wheel nicely complement the Vanilla Milkshake exterior body color. The custom fabricated dash, billet trim panels, carpet, etc. are spotless and without any blemishes. Comfort features include AM FM stereo, CD player, AC and cruise control.

Engine, Driveline and Chassis
The completely rebuilt 2005 Chevy Vortec 4.2 liter OHV straight-6 cylinder engine with 300+ HP, 300 foot lb. torque features a custom built intake manifold, polished aluminum rocker covers, and fabricated stainless steel AC brackets. The custom exhaust system features a ceramic coated stock cast manifold, 3" single exhaust with internal stainless steel muffler, and three 18" stainless steel tail pipes. Backing the Vortec 4.2 liter OHV straight-6 engine is a GM 460LE 5-Spd. automatic transmission recalibrated for the weight of car followed by a custom built driveshaft. The smooth ride and good handling of independent suspension is credited to a Jaguar independent suspension and rear end narrowed 2" each side with 3.50 gears, coil over front and rear shocks with a four bar rear. Front suspension includes a TCI independent unit with tubular upper and lower control arms, power rack and pinion steering with Borgeson U-Joints and shafts, and adjustable coil over shocks. The brake system features a billet aluminum master cylinder with electric ABS pump, Wilwood four piston calipers, braided stainless steel flex lines, and Lokar parking brake cables with Wilwood lever and mechanisms. Fuel system components include a custom 16 gallon fuel tank and dual fuel filters. The AC condenser is mounted in front of the radiator. An electric radiator cooling fan was installed. All belts, clamps, and hoses are in excellent condition. The engine compartment is very clean, painted, and well detailed. The custom built 2x6 rectangular tube chassis is cross braced with 2x4 rectangular tubes, and drop out transmission mount. The floorboards are sunken into the chassis 5". The chassis is well finished in Brown Endura.

Lighting and Electrical
The custom built wiring harness is incorporated with GM engine harness. Features include halogen headlamps with LED signal and park lamps, factory stock 2005 alternator and starter, Optima dry cell battery, LED bulbs in 1932 tail lamps, retracting front and rear license plates, power trunk and fuel door, marine wiper motor, and in-tank electric fuel pump.

Wheels and Tires
Wheel Vintique 16x7 wire spokes are mounted on Michelin Pilot I-1K 225/55R16 front and Wheel Vintique 17x10 wire spokes on Hankook 255/60R17 radials in the rear.
